Great Towns in Europe for Wine

During a honeymoon or vacation consultation, My Vacation Lady will ask if the clients consider themselves to be foodies or if they enjoy trying local cuisine.  We’ll ask if they like wine or beer or a certain type of drink.  Many times, just when reviewing our new client questionnaires, we’ll see a recurring comment….. we like good food and wine.

We, also, will always ask what kind of experiences you are looking for during your vacation or honeymoon and many times, if our clients are planning on going to Italy or France or Spain or Greece, they’ll want to stop off at a winery.

Most people have probably heard of Tuscany in Italy.  It’s been made famous by the long rolling fields of grapes that make some great wines.  Some of the well known wine towns are Chianti and Montpulciano.    The Loire Valley and Burgundy and Bordeaux are very well known in France.

Did you also realize that Spain and Portugal have great wine towns?  How about Germany, Hungary and Croatia?

Smart Traveler posted an article with 10 great wine towns in Europe.

Let My Vacation Lady customize your honeymoon or vacation to include your passions for food, cooking classes, wine, or beer.
