Everyone is Irish on St Patty’s Day and you don’t need to be Irish to want to visit Ireland!  But not everyone is a fan of warm green beer so in celebration of St Patrick’s Day, My Vacation Lady found a few cocktail recipes for you to try.

Reader’s Digest has 7 different recipes for those with a bit more sophisticated tastes than green beer.

If you’re in Hawaii or happen to have some Kona Coffee on hand, the Hawaii Coffee Connection, LLC offered up these St Patty’s Day Kona Coffee Drink Recipes

Here are some wonderful recipes for Irish coffee drinks:

Irish Cream Mocha

1/2 cup freshly brewed Hawaiian Irish Cream coffee

1/2 cup hot milk

1 tsp cocoa

1/2 tsp sugar, or 2 tbsp chocolate sauce

Whipped cream

Mint Sprig

Instructions:

1. Put cocoa & sugar in a cup. Add a little hot water and stir until a creamy paste forms.

2. Add enough sugar to achieve the level of sweetness you like and stir.

3. Add coffee, 1/2 cup

4. Add 1/2 cup hot milk and stir again

5. Garnish with whipped cream and a mint sprig

Bailey’s Irish Coffee

6 oz Hawaiian Irish Cream Coffee or Farmer’s Choice 100% Kona coffee.

2 oz Bailey’s Original Irish Cream

1 oz Bushmill’s Irish Whiskey

Add Baileys® Original Irish Cream, Kona coffee and Bushmill’s Irish Whiskey to an “Irish coffee” glass. Top with whipped cream if desired.

 

Hot Minty Kiss

6 oz  Freshly brewed Farmer’s Choice or Hawaiian Irish Cream Coffee

1/2 oz Creme de menthe, white

1 oz Irish whiskey
