rapelling3Costa Rica isn’t a large country but it’s very diverse.  Bordered on the Caribbean to the East and the Pacific to the west, you’re never far from a beach, but the beaches aren’t the only reason to visit Costa Rica.

My Vacation Lady worked a young couple interested in experiencing Costa Rica.  They didn’t just want to see one or 2 places, but rather multiple different parts of the country to really experience the different things that Costa Rica had to offer.  They wanted to see monkeys and turtles, volcanoes and beaches, coffee plantations and cloud forests, and they wanted to zip line and rappel down water falls and go white water rafting and hiking and so much more.  The problem was— they only had a week to travel.

Most of My Vacation Lady’s clients visit Costa Rica for more than a week- typically 8-12 days and visit 2 different areas (usually Arenal for the activities and a beach destination).  We have had clients who didn’t care about the beach and only wanted the activities and loved their 5 night stay in the Arenal area.  They loved it so much that they are planning a return trip with 30 or 40 friends in a couple of years.  Others want the beach with only a couple of activities so a week in the Guanacaste region might be perfect for them.   For those who want nature at it’s best, Manuel Antonio is a perfect combination of white sand beaches, wild life and activities.
