OLD News by now but—
Starting at 12:01am on Sunday, June 12, 2022, air travelers coming to the U.S. don’t need to test negative for Covid before departure.
- This was one major hurdle in stopping US travelers from traveling internationally with a fear of being quarantined in a foreign country with a positive or false positive covid test result.
- This makes it easier for those travelers who didn’t want to have to worry about where to find a covid test location who could offer an approved test.
- This makes less stressful for travelers coming home after a relaxing tropical vacation or those who are busy sightseeing or exploring new cultures.
OF COURSE, this can change (like everything else during the past 2 years of Covid) but this now makes traveling internationally more stress free.
It will be reviewed and possibily re-instated in 90 days.
If this news stresses you out even more, then we can offer domestic trips that you may still be comfortable with.
Right now, cruise lines and some tour companies and other countries around the world have not changed their covid testing policy so we’ll keep you posted on all of the changes that are going on.
In the meantime, this is a good link to favorite for the most up to date travel and health restrictions for your trip.
