The payment portal link to the VISITAX website is now live: www.visitax.gob.mx

This website provides the process to pay the fee for up to 10 travelers arriving to the state. If a party has more than 10 passengers, a 2nd payment will need to be processed for the remaining people in the group. This electronic payment can be made anytime prior to the traveler’s departure.

In addition to the payment website, travelers can also pay the Tourist Usage Fee in cash at the airport on the day of departure.

We’ve attached a screenshot of the Landing Page of the website. You will note that the site is initially in Spanish, but in the upper right corner, you will see a ‘dropdown’ menu which provides a EN option for English.

It’s going to show up in Pesos if you pay online so for a couple it may show 448 pesos.  Don’t get worried.  It will convert into about $11 per person and currency exchange fees based on your bank.
