We know that you have heard of the Tahitian Islands and Fiji but there are some lesser known islands in the South Pacific that many people haven’t heard of.

The Cook Islands

In between the Fijian Islands and the Tahitian Islands, on the same time zone as Hawaii, the Cook Islands are reminiscent of Hawaii from 50 years ago.  No huge resort hotels.  No chain restaurants. Just beautiful beaches, beautiful nature and locally run hotels.

Right now, the Cook Islands has had ZERO cases of Covid-19 and intends to keep it that way by quarantining all arriving tourists for 14 days.  This all may be subject to change so please do check back.

My Vacation Lady has honeymooners scheduled to travel to the Cook Islands in July and hopefully, it will be safe to travel.  So for Emma and Chris, just to get you excited and ready for your honeymoon, our friends at the Pacific Resort Aitutaki have offered us a quick guide to the Aitutakian Maori Language to practice at home.

From the team at My Vacation Lady, we are here for our past, present and future clients and look forward to helping you plan your next vacation or your dream honeymoon, when it is safe to travel.

In the meantime, stay safe, stay healthy and dream!
