Before My Vacation Lady visited Kauai for the first time, we heard from clients constantly that it was their favorite island. All wished that they had more time in Kauai and when we visited back in 2008, we knew why. We’ve been back multiple times since and each time find more to see, do and experience.
The outdoors is your entertainment.
From Waimea Canyon, to the Napali Coast, gorgeous beaches on the North Shore, to the waterfalls, taro fields, wet and dry caves, mesmerizing sunsets and more, Kauai has quickly become My Vacation Lady’s favorite Hawaiian Island. Kauai is the epitome of romantic vacations, honeymoons and family vacations.
There is so much to see and do for everyone of every age. How about:
- zip lining
- kayaking
- hiking
- snorkeling
- tubing down canals
- fishing
- ATV excursions
- helicopter tours
- just enjoying the gorgeous scenery
In December of 2019, we re-visited Kauai for 6 days and experienced some brand new experiences.
- We took a Sunshine helicopter tour over the island and, while we were in the area, we checked out some waterfalls (both Wailua Falls – the twin falls and ‘Opaeka’a Falls). We tried to hike up the Sleeping Giant trail but it was too muddy but we drove through Kapa’a and checked out Lydgate Beach Park.
- Two days later we did a sunset cruise aboard Holo Holo Charters from Port Allen. The sunset was a bit hidden but the views were still sensational. Their crew were trained marine biologists who spotted dolphins and told us great storied about the Na Pali Coast and the sea life.
We are Hawaii Destination Specialists and have been there and done it. Call My Vacation Lady to book your dream honeymoon or vacation to Kauai.
