Collage of Euro Currency Bank NotesThere’s no way around it.  Vacationing in Europe is never going to be an inexpensive trip.   Between the airfare getting over there, the cost of accommodations (unless you are staying in hotels), transportation between cities and food, a European vacation or honeymoon can blow many budgets.

When My Vacation Lady books a European vacation or honeymoon package for our clients, we try to include a lot of the  anticipated costs (air, hotel, rail tickets and some sightseeing) but we can’t always anticipate the costs of some of the extras, like food, local transportation and more.

Should you take cabs or rent a car?  Should you try to use local transportation instead?  Should you get museum passes?  How can you save money on food?

Before heading out to Europe, you might want to check out this Fodor’s article on how to save money while vacationing in Europe.

The team at My Vacation Lady is able to help you plan your dream vacation or honeymoon to Europe.  Whether you want a wine and culinary experience, biking down the Danube, hitting every museum or some relaxing in a cliff side suite with a private pool in Santorini, we can help.
