Every time My Vacation Lady goes to Maui, we love to find something a bit off the beaten trail and we love recommending these cool finds to our clients.  We are working with a honeymoon couple who want to spend their entire 12 day honeymoon in Maui so we were suggesting a few things for them to do to get off the resort grounds.

Yes, we have suggested that they drive the Road to Hana.  We’ve done it a couple of times and always find something new to explore.  One of the hikes we will suggest to these honeymooners is just off the Seven Sacred Pools at O’heo and Ohe’0 Gulch

Many people will call it the Bamboo Forest but it’s actually along the Pipiwai Trail and it about 1 mile into the trail but worth the hike.
