Always one of the top rated resorts in the world, the Four Seasons Hualalai has an adult only pool, outdoor spa hales, poolside cabanas and rooms that offer outdoor showers made from lava rock.
- Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa (Kauai)
One of My Vacation Lady’s favorite Hawaiian reosrts offers an adult only pool, a lazy river, a swimming lagoon pool with a sand bottom that you can lounge on a raft for 2, fabulous garden spa hales, two-person hammocks, swing chairs facing the ocean and is home to the idyllic Tidepools restaurant, where open-air dining huts seem to float over koi ponds. They also offer a private, butler served beachfront dinner under the stars!
- Travaasa Hana (Maui)
Far removed from Maui’s resort areas, this remote resort allows couples to completely unplug so they can focus on each other and the beautiful setting. The Sea Ranch cottages, with hot tubs on the lanai are the perfect romantic rooms facing the ocean, a bit more secluded and come with a private Jacuzzi. The great spa and secluded setting help make this one of Hawaii’s most romantic resorts.
- Four Seasons Maui at Wailea
Another top rated resort year after year, the Four Seasons Maui has the BEST adult only pool! The Serenity Pool offers a quiet retreat for guests, with an underwater music system to enhance the swimming experience for guests, luxury cabanas featuring flat screen HD televisions with wireless headsets, wireless and wired internet access, ceiling fans, stocked mini refrigerators, and comfortable couches as well as oversized chaise lounges. Let’s not forget the swim up pool bar, the pool service and the spa! All make the Four Season Maui another fabulous romantic resort.
- Fairmont Kea Lani (Maui)
Another of our honeymooner’s favorite resorts, the Fairmont Kea Lani has an adult only pool, great lounge chairs for 2, a swim up pool bar, lounging areas within the gardens to snuggle, romantic dinners set up poolside and all of the rooms are 2 room suites. The bathrooms are to die for with a shower big enough for 2, oversized lanais and let’s not forget the newly reopened spa featuring beachside massages.
- Andaz at Wailea (Maui)
The newest entry to Maui is the Andaz. This chic and upscale resort is perfect for the honeymooners who want something a bit out of the ordinary for Hawaii. Modern rooms complete with showers for 2, soaking tubs, and complimentary snacks and beverages set the Andaz apart. Cascading pools, pool and beach service, a spa to die for, an adult only pool and great sunsets makes the Andaz another top romantic resort of Hawaii.
- The Modern (Oahu)
There is definitely a different vibe at the Modern and you’ll notice it as soon as you walk in. From the surfboard inspired collage in the lobby to the sunset (adult only pool) and to the Addiction Night Club, this is an adult oriented hotel. While not beachfront, you can walk just 5 minutes to a fabulous stretch of beach in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The Modern is not intended to be a family friendly property so for those honeymooners who want to be away from kids, this hotel might be the perfect alternative to one of the Waikiki hotels.
- Hotel Wailea
This hotel is ADULT ONLY! With only 72 one bedroom suites, it is quiet and romantic. When we saw this hotel in December of 2017, we knew that this was a perfect honeymoon resort. The suites are gorgeous. Some have phenomenal ocean views perched high in the hills. That being said— this hotel is NOT beachfront. It is about a 5 minute drive from Wailea Beach and they do offer a complimentary beach shuttle. You’ll feel as though you are in a tropical garden retreat far from the hustle and bustle of the Maui beach resorts.
