Costa Rica honeymoon- Beach + Volcano

We just returned from a hosted visit to Costa Rica and stayed in some fabulous resorts that would be perfect for honeymoons.

For our honeymooners who want to have a bit of beach and relaxation with some adventure, El Mangroove in the Papagayo area of Costa Rica may be a good fit.

Just 20 minutes from the Liberia Airport, El Mangroove is in the perfect location for your first stop in Costa Rica.  It’s beachfront with a long stretch of natural beach along the Gulf of Papagayo.  With only 85 suites, the suites are surrounded by mangrove forests, wildlife and the beach.  You can take a bike out for a ride along the beach, kayak in the clear waters of the Gulf of Papagayo or enjoy the outdoor spa treatment rooms.

One unique option at El Mangroove is an all inclusive option that is available on a daily basis.  So if you are going to be out on a full day activity, you may not need the all inclusive package for that day.  For the days that you want to relax and enjoy the resort, you can enjoy the delicious meals (fresh farm to table and ocean to table ingredients and some of the  best guacamole we ever tasted!!!) and an array of premium beverages.  No other resort can offer you the flexibility of an all inclusive package when you want it and the option to pay for only the days you want it.

My Vacation Lady can assist with planning experiences for you to make your honeymoon even more special- perhaps a romantic sunset cruise for just the 2 of you, beach hopping or ziplining?

After some time at the beach, we recommend staying in the Arenal area— the volcano area of Costa Rica.

Again, we were hosted at a resort that is absolutely to die for- Nayara Springs.  There are 2 parts to this resort- Nayara Springs the adult only section- all with private thermal plunge pools and then Nayara Resort Spa and Gardens, which are all casitas.  These luxury sister properties offer indoor and outdoor private garden showers, daily yoga classes,  nature trails and complimentary daily breakfast.  If you are staying at Nayara Springs, you have your choice of breakfast served in your room, a la carte in Mis Amores restaurant or buffet style at Altamira.  The food and service was so wonderful in Mis Amores, we went there each day for breakfast!

My Vacation Lady can include private transfers between the resorts, activities in both destinations and lots of suggestions.

If you are looking for a bit of adventure and romantic luxury in Costa Rica, My Vacation Lady can help design a honeymoon that would be ideal for you!
