Hula Pie

Yes, you know what it is—Hula Pie- a completely decadent dessert that was the complete and ultimate downfall of my diet.  Duke’s restaurant was probably the one that started serving this fabulous dessert and now so many restaurants in the islands serve it.

There’s no baking, and you can find most of the ingredients ready made: chocolate cookie pie crust, macadamia nut ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, chopped macademia nuts.

Once you pile all this stuff dizzily high, however, the Hula Pie turns into a mountain of pure dessert indulgence that impresses the heartiest of eaters.
