There are lots of sleepy islands in the Caribbean where there is little to no nightlife.  My Vacation Lady recently spoke to a couple that didn’t want to go somewhere that closed down at 9pm, so for Meghan and Blaine, this is for you….

Some of the top islands for a nightlife in the Caribbean

Aruba:  This island is actually considered to have one of the best in nightlife.  From casinos to bars and clubs, like Senor Frogs and Carlos and Charlies, to live shows at the hotels, to salsa dancing to a party bus pub crawl, there is a lot to do one the sun sets in Aruba.

Bahamas:  The main island of Nassau is known for it’s nightlife.  From bars and clubs to a party booze cruise to casinos, you can find everything from quaint bars to New York or Miami style night clubs and almost everything in between.

Jamaica: When the sun goes down, Montego Bay comes alive.  From reggae music to Margaritaville on  the Hip Strip in Montego Bay will keep you moving to the beat until the wee hours.

Puerto Rico:  If you are looking to party, look no further than San Juan.  The locals were born to party and Puerto Rico is known as the nightlife capital of the Caribbean, with salsa music lasting until just before dawn.

St Maarten:  The Dutch side of this island has casinos and bars and discos and once the sun sets, the party gear comes out.  Let’s not forget the French side of the island with bars and dining options in Grand Case and Orient Bay.

So if you want an island destination with something to do after the sun goes down, these islands in the Caribbean can certainly fit the bill.
