The world has reopened after 2 years of the Covid pandemic and so many more destinations are open to our honeymooners for 2023.

What are some of the  top destinations for My Vacation Lady‘s honeymooners in 2023

Hawaii is always a top honeymoon destination and it is remaining a top contender for 2023 too.  Prices are higher than I have ever seen, so you may not get as much bang for your honeymoon budget.  Let us give you some ideas about where you can save some money and when to splurge.

Tahiti’s over water bungalows are another top choice among our honeymooners.  Only 8 hours from Los Angeles,  San Francisco and now from Seattle, it’s not as far as some other overwater bungalow destinations.  Our honeymooners will tend to splurge on the over water bungalows in Bora Bora and perhaps spend some time in a garden or beach bungalow in another island.

Fiji is a bit further than Tahiti with a 10.5 hour flight from the West Coast but sometimes it can offer more value than the Tahitian Islands.  Some resorts will offer a meal inclusive plan to help with your budget and we can offer a combination of activities and exploration on Viti Levu (Fiji’s “main” island) and then a beach experience at one of the more remote properties.

Greece was a winner in 2022 and the interest is strong for 2023 as well.  Mykonos and Santorini have always been the islands requested the most but we are seeing more interest in Crete, Naxos, Paros and Milos.  They are all unique in their own special way.

Bali is back and if you want a combination of culture, adventure and beach, look no further.  The flights getting there aren’t the most convenient but Bali is a great option for a value packed exotic honeymoon destination!

Italy has always been a top choice for Europe and many of our honeymooners will end on the Amalfi Coast for some relaxation and the stunning views.  Spain and  Portugal are coming up as top honeymoon destinations as well- again usually with a combination of city and beach.  Sometimes less expensive, Spain and Portugal usually offer better value than Italy or France.

We can’t forget about Mexico and the Caribbean.  They will always be super popular with honeymooners due to shorter flights, great resorts and great values.  St Lucia and Antigua are always popular.  Aruba and Curacao are out of the hurricane zone.  For some new resorts with the WOW factor- consider Playa Mujeres or the Riviera Maya in Mexico!
